In the car: The Name of the Wind audiobook, by Patrick Rothfuss
I'm on CD 7 out of 23. Not sure if I like it yet, mostly because of the main character, but at least it will keep me busy for a good while. One of my friends at work insisted I read it, so I'm betting it gets better.
For fun: Lights Out, by Ingrid Michaelson
Favorite tracks: "Home" and "Time Machine"
Ingrid Michaelson and Sara Bareilles are probably the only two constants in my music collection. As long as they keep alternating years for releasing albums, I'll be a happy listener.
While writing: SyFy's Defiance soundtrack
Favorite track: "Ooh Child"
This soundtrack's a bit all over the place--futuristic rock music, sweeping score cues, '80s covers--but I love it.
